CIMRM 198 - Small finds from sanctuary. S. Maria Capua Vetere, Italy.
In the middle of the sanctuary:
a) Fragm. of a terracotta antefix (0.15 : 0.31) with a group of Centaurs in relief.
b) Cylindrical draining-pipe in terracotta (L. 0.49 diam. 0.24).
c) Terracotta basin (H. 0.215) with three apertures for pipes.
d) Fragm. of a marble plate (0.29 : 0.33) with ornaments in relief. Furthermore
two marble bases (H. 0.12 and 0.30) and a third one in travertine (H. 0.30). Finally
a small marble column with flutes (H. 0.17).
e) A great number of small lamps (diam; 0.07-0.12), one of which shows a
primitive head of Sol in radiate crown (cf. Minto, fig. 1). Another one has been
adorned with rosettes and has an inscription MEN in the middle.
f) .Three coins of M. Aurelius; Constantius ChIorus and Constantine the Great.
