CIMRM Supplement - Bronze figure of Mithras from tauroctony. Venice, Italy.

From: Twitter

Same image brightened.

Museo image, comparing the figure to a tauroctony.

A bronze figurine (13.3 cm high, 2-3rd c. AD) held at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Venezia. A sharp-eyed curator noted in 2021 that the pose was the same as a tauroctony relief, and posted about it on twitter. It must be a remaining part of a bronze tauroctony, where the rest is lost.
