A. DURAND, The Making of a Frontier (1899)

I am sorry to say that I have removed this e-text.   It is certainly in the public domain, as Col. Durand died in 1923.  As far as I knew, the volume was a forgotten set of memoirs.  

In fact there are at least two publishers who are currently selling reprints of the book.  Please support them.
